Moral Duty & Voting Conscience

What does it truly mean to be salt in a world that desperately needs preservation? This message drives straight to the heart of a question every believer must wrestle with: are we actually using what God has placed in us, or are we leaving it in the shaker? Drawing from James 4:17, we are confronted with a sobering reality -- that knowing the right thing to do and choosing not to do it is not neutrality. It is sin. The spiritual lesson here is not merely about politics or voting; it is about moral stewardship. God has delegated authority over this earth to His people, as Psalm 115:16 makes clear, and that delegation carries weight and responsibility. We are challenged to examine whether our prayers are producing fruit in the form of righteous action, or whether prayer has quietly become a cover for passivity. The message calls us to recognize that intercession and action are not opposites -- they are partners. What we gain through intercession, we keep through intercession, and what we keep must be actively stewarded. If we have been sitting on the sidelines of culture, this is an invitation to step back into our God-given role as standard bearers, truth speakers, and preservers of what is good.
