About Victory

Revival, Awakening and Reformation

VICTORY's mandate extends to the Southwest coastal region of Florida, America, and the Nations. We love our city and region and carry a vision for cultural transformation. Our quest is for a lifestyle of continual personal revival, national awakening, and generational reformation. We train, empower, and release believers to take kingdom culture to the world.

We are a community that pursues intimacy with God and hosts the presence of the Lord for our city and region. Victory is a place to lead people of all ages into a growing and life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ. We are a church that loves the Holy Spirit, equips believers for ministry, and pursues the global expansion of God’s Kingdom through His manifest presence in every sphere of life. Victory is a place where God is tangible and present in personal revival, signs, wonders and miracles.  The atmosphere is one of faith, worship and joy. We believe we're on the edge of the greatest revival of all time. We pray and worship together to bring heaven to earth. The centerpiece of every gathering is the pursuit of God's heart and presence through worship, intercession and the Word where lives are transformed and launched into their destinies.

Here at Victory, you will discover the riches and supremacy of the Word of God and experience the Holy Spirit.  Your heart will burn for the pleasure of His company. Your heart will burn for lost souls in this wayward generation. You will be equipped and activated in the gifts of the Holy Spirit to become an effective change agent for this generation. You will also connect and discover the family you never knew you had — a fellowship of burning hearts.

Why Saturday Night Service?
Pastor Brian and Bren Gibbs spent many years on the road as traveling ministers prior to pastoring in Sarasota. In their travels, they consistently observed Sunday as the service where people lacked pressing in and engaging with the Lord because of the church system many have created. Much of that involved scheduled programs, getting people in and out of service and not allowing space and time for God to move freely without restraint. This ultimately is what stirred their hearts for Saturday nights, in order to be a "first fruits" for churches gathering on the weekends, a place where God can move freely and not do "church as usual."
Why Does Victory Use Flags and Banners in Worship?
Flags and banners have held powerful significance in worship in historical and biblical foundations. In Exodus 17:15, we discover that Moses built an altar and called it "Jehovah Nissi," which means “The Lord is my Banner,” symbolizing God's protection and victory. In Song of Solomon 2:4 the NKJV says, "He brought me to the banqueting house, and His banner over me was love." The word for banner in the Hebrew means "a standard or flag," signifying protection and/or identity. Both flags and banners play an important role in worship symbolizing identity, divine guidance, God's nature, and unity under God's sovereignty.

Psalm 20:5 says, "We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions." (NKJV) The Hebrew word for banners in this scripture means a rallying point or sign of victory. There are many scriptures that reveal the lifting up of flags and banners as a divine call and rallying point of unity among God’s people. As we worship at Victory with banners, we are declaring and remembering the names of God, the nature of God, and His authority.

Flags and banners are more than just fabric. They are a visual expression of worship, identity, and God's promises. In waving and displaying our banners, our worship becomes a powerful declaration of God's presence, love, and victory.
