called to victory

In Acts 2:41, we see that “those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.. We uphold the teachings in Scripture and practice of the early Church that those who have been saved (Romans 10:9-10) should follow in baptism as a confession of their faith. Those are the ones who were “added” day by day to the body. For membership at VICTORY, someone must follow the biblical example of repentance, giving their life to Jesus Christ and being baptized as a public expression of their faith.

If you have given your life to Jesus but have not been baptized, we would love to be a part of that journey! Baptism is not only your public confession, but the reality of being buried with Christ and raised to newness of life in Him.

We believe every member of the Body of Christ is called to faithfully contribute through tithing and serving. Tithing and serving are a part of sowing into and taking responsibility within the family of God. We are not called to be consumers and observers, but are called to grow in the Body and invest into the work of the ministry. As Ephesians 4:16 teaches, "from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."  We invite you to be a part!

As individuals and families become members of VICTORY through the process listed above, they are then connected with Care Leaders. Our Care Leaders are trusted leaders within the church body who pray for, care for, and help watch over the "flock" entrusted to them. They serve as a meaningful source of encouragement, support, prayer and spiritual care within the VICTORY family.
