Pray in the Spirit

The sermon explored the profound and often underutilized gift of praying in the Spirit, drawing from Ephesians 6, 1 Corinthians 14, Romans 8, and Jude 1. Pastor Brian made the case that praying in tongues is not merely a Pentecostal cultural expression but one of the most holy exercises available to the New Testament church. Just as water baptism and the Lord's table are sacred, so too is the gift of Pentecost — the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. In a world growing increasingly chaotic and spiritually intense, the ability to pray in the Spirit on all occasions is not optional but essential. When we pray in the Spirit, we speak directly to God, bypassing the limitations of natural understanding, transcending carnal emotions, and accessing the limitless wisdom and will of the Father. The Holy Spirit intercedes through us with perfect knowledge of every circumstance, every motive, and every consequence — things our natural minds simply cannot fully comprehend.
