Are you Surrounded?

Aug 8, 2026

The sermon explored the account in 2 Kings 6 where the prophet Elisha and his servant found themselves surrounded by a vast Syrian army. Rather than responding in fear, Elisha prayed that his servant's eyes would be opened to see the heavenly armies encamped around them. Through this passage, we were challenged to examine how we perceive our own circumstances -- whether we are interpreting life through natural eyes alone or through the lens of spiritual revelation. The sermon called us to live from the invisible reality of God's kingdom, to trust in the authority we carry as sons and daughters of God, and to understand that the battles we face are often the greatest indicators of the significance of our assignment.
