The narrow road, though it is difficult, leads to life just as Jesus said. This is the path where all true believers walk who honor His grace and commands in the fear of the Lord. The broad path is a path of compromise, mixture, permissiveness that ultimately leads to self deception. It is terrifying that many who professed allegiance to Jesus will hear the Him say—“I never knew you!” This is the hour of refining fire and purification. In an age of lawlessness where many believe they can live however they wish, God knows who truly belong to Him in covenant love.
